Zalety
Great location near the centre and ferry. Girls at the SPA were very professional and excellent at what they did. Indoor Pool was lovely and warm. Breakfast, Bar, Restuarant and front desk staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and hats off to the chef cooking omlettes, fried eggs and pancakes on demand. In general, we all loved this hotel.

A relatively new hotel, but could still do with some regular maintenance and upgrading in parts. Crossing the road at the entrance to go into town could really do with a pedestrian crossing.

Our room was very large, the bar area near reception had plenty of seating so we enjoyed a few drinks there.

The view from our room ( Limestone retaining wall) was a bit disappointing but view depends on what room you've booked, maybe we got what we paid for

Particularly liked the waterside dining (Tiki restaurant).The food was really excellent and reasonably priced.Service faultless. Other food and drink elsewhere in the hotel was also reasonably priced. Room was a good size

The bathroom was a shambles. On arrival the toilet seat was literally hanging off.Was supposedly fixed but still fell off again.The shower control was also hanging off the wall, and water seeped up thru the tiles on the floor that we had to put towels down every time to soak up.The wall between the shower/bedroom had rising damp and flaking plaster. (Who inspects these things-5star hotel ?? ). One evening, returning after day in 35deg heat, there was no hot water, so could not sensibly shower. Told at least 3 hrs before hot water.(5 star hotel ?? ). Hotel is set down in a bowl so many, many steps up to street level to walk into city, which in 35deg heat was a drag.Hotel ran a shuttle service-one at 10am, and one at 6pm. A 3 min trip by vehicle, twice a day-big deal.Not very 5 star.I know 3 star hotels in other cities that go every hour.

From my past visits they are penny pinching, charging you €5 for your room key! Nothing in the mini bar, having to buy packages, unfortunately on Malta there is now only one five star Hotel and it’s nit this one.

This hotel is very well appointed with a wide range of services and options for guests. It has plenty of staff available to help who are all very friendly and helpful. It is an excellent base for a short or extended stay in Malta and a short transfer journey from the airport. We found it excellent value for the short visit we needed and will be recommending it to friends accordingly.

Only a minor point, but pool side staff should be quicker to clear away used plates and glasses left by guests who have finished with them - not the most pleasant sight when you come to sit down on the terrace.
