Zalety
The hotel is perfectly situated for access to islands of adventure, citywalk and universal studios. It is either an 8 minute walk or a few minutes in a water taxi direct to citywalk. The express passes were a lifesaver when it was very busy at the parks plus early entry was good.

The room was adequate. The decor was lovely but it was a bit grotty and needed a deep clean.

On the Universal Studios property. Sushi at Orchid Lounge was excellent and I’m not a sushi lover.

For Tesla owners, you DO NOT have to use valet to use the Tesla charger even if they insist you do. Pay for normal daily parking, but follow signs for “additional parking”. It will lead you to a parking garage and the Tesla chargers are as you drive up from level one to level 2. It is a long walk back, either going around the Royal Pacific ballrooms or just following the road back to the main entrance, but there is literally nothing stopping you from using these chargers.

For $500/night, I expected more. We stayed there before, but this was bad. Room was filthy when we checked in - trash on the floor, crumbs, rags left in bathroom, dirty phone, etc. Totally inexcusable. We signed up to have our room cleaned daily for 5 nights. each night we returned (tired) to our room..and nothing was done. They would promise it would be handled correctly they next day...then the same thing happened. The rooms are also ready for an update. totally disappointing for our first vacation in over a year. Room was disgusting at check in. I wanted to unpack before heading to the park...but, no way would I unpack in the pigsty. Rooms were not cleaned daily, as promised. Resort was at 35% capacity...so there was no reason this couldn't have been done professionally.

The Loews Royal Pacific Resort will be undergoing renovations to guest rooms, hallways, and elevator areas from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026. Some minor noise may be observed. The majority of the renovations will be conducted Monday through Friday from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM. Zalety
Really close to the Universal parks Room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy. Rooms and hotel in general was very clean We were checked in with no issues, staff very friendly and helpful.
Wady
We were charge $9 for a bottle of water we didn't use. Had to chase up to get money refunded.
